Ferroptosis in melanoma

Abstract: 【Abstract】 Ferroptosis, a newly discovered form of iron-dependent regulation of cell death, has been found to be associated with the development of various cancers, including melanoma. This review summarizes recent progress in roles of ferroptosis in the pathogenesis, metastasis and treatment of melanoma, aiming to provide a theoretical basis for the development of new drugs and new treatment strategies for melanoma in clinical practice.
