Abstract: 【Abstract】 Periodontitis is a chronic inflammatory disease triggered by bacterial infections that activate the host′s immune response, thereby destroying supporting tissues of the teeth, forming periodontal pockets, and eventually leading to tooth loss. Recent studies have found periodontitis is associated with a variety of immune skin diseases, and there may be a bidirectional relationship as well. This review summarizes the association between periodontitis and immune skin diseases.
