Abstract: 【Abstract】 Polydopamine is a biomimetic melanin-like nanomaterial, formed through the self-polymerization of dopamine in an alkaline environment. It possesses excellent adhesion properties and biocompatibility. This review summarizes the biological properties of polydopamine and its application in wound healing, skin infections, sun protection and radiation protection, skin tumors, and hypopigmented skin diseases, in order to provide a reference for the application of polydopamine in the treatment of skin diseases.
