Abstract: 【Abstract】 After dermatologic surgery, some patients may have been receiving antithrombotic therapy. Some patients may have a high risk of venous thromboembolism during the perioperative period after dermatologic surgery due to their age, skin tumors, etc. Among them, many patients are receiving anticoagulation and antiplatelet therapies due to cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. Therefore, if the treatment is not proper during the perioperative period, the occurrence of bleeding will affect the post-surgical prognosis, and even endanger patients′ lives by venous thromboembolism and cardiovascular or cerebrovascular accidents. This review summarizes research progress in the prevention of venous thromboembolism and the management of antithrombotic agents during the perioperative period after dermatologic surgery.
