Abstract: 【Abstract】 Vulvar lichen sclerosus (VLS) is a recurrent chronic inflammatory disease that can occur in women of almost all ages, especially menopausal, perimenopausal and prepubertal women. The typical skin lesions include ivory-/porcelain-white sclerotic atrophic plaques, and anatomical distortion of the vulva, urethra and anus in the late stage, which can lead to difficulties in sexual activities, urination and defecation. The Dermatology Branch of China International Exchange and Promotion Association for Medical and Healthcare organized several Chinese experts to develop this Chinese expert consensus on the diagnosis and treatment of VLS, based on clinical researches and guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of VLS in China and other countries as well as experience and perspectives of Chinese experts.
