Expert consensus on the clinical application of chemical peeling in China (2024 public version)

Abstract: 【Abstract】 Chemical peeling has been widely used in the treatment of various skin diseases and skin rejuvenation. However, improper operation or non?professional practice may lead to irreversible adverse events. To enhance public understanding of chemical peeling and popularize correct and professional medical knowledge, an expert consensus group on the clinical application of chemical peeling in China co?established by the Chinese Society of Dermatology, China Dermatologist Association, Chinese Association of Integrative Medicine Board of Dermatovenereology developed this consensus on the definition, classification, indications, contraindications, adverse effects of, and considerations during the treatment with chemical peeling, aiming to provide a reference for the public.
