Abstract: 【Abstract】 Atopic dermatitis (AD) is an inflammatory skin condition caused by multiple factors, mainly characterized by T-cell mediated skin inflammation and disruption of the skin barrier. Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 4 (OX40) and its ligand (OX40L) serve as important factors in mediating T cell immune responses, contributing to pathogenic T cell proliferation and survival and promoting the secretion of inflammatory cytokines. This signaling pathway is closely associated with systemic and local inflammatory responses. At present, monoclonal antibodies targeting the OX40L/OX40 pathway have demonstrated significant efficacy and long-term improvement in clinical trials for moderate-to-severe AD, and may become important targeted therapeutics for AD in the future.
