Abstract: 【Abstract】 Narrowband ultraviolet B (NB-UVB) is a commonly used phototherapy modality in dermatology and has become a first-line or important adjuvant treatment for various skin diseases. This guideline was formulated by the Dermatology Professional Committee of Chinese Research Hospital Society and the China Dermatologist Association through expert discussions, based on the latest medical evidence and clinical practice experience regarding NB-UVB phototherapy in China and other countries in recent years. This guideline outlines the light source characteristics, mechanisms of action, indications, and contraindications of NB-UVB phototherapy (including 311-nm and 308-nm light sources), with a focus on standardizing individualized treatment protocols, combination therapy strategies, and phototherapy precautions for special populations in the treatment of common indications such as vitiligo, psoriasis, mycosis fungoides, and atopic dermatitis. Furthermore, it addresses key issues in clinical practice, including the management of adverse reactions, home phototherapy management, and equipment maintenance, with the aim of providing scientific and standardized guidance for the clinical application of NB-UVB in dermatology.
