Abstract: 【Abstract】 The scalp is not only the most frequently affected area but also the primary site of psoriasis. It is notoriously challenging to treat due to its inherent resistance. The presence of distinct hair cycles and intricate microbial communities play a role in the development of unique lesions in scalp psoriasis. In recent years, significant progress has been made in the treatment of scalp psoriasis, with both biologics and small-molecule inhibitors proving to be effective. New topical therapies and phototherapy methods are also under exploration. This review summarizes the advancements in the pathogenesis and treatment for scalp psoriasis.
