Abstract

Abstract: 【Abstract】 Dermato-epidemiological investigation is the primary method to study the distribution, factors, prognosis, and natural course of skin diseases. Scientific and rigorous study design and standardized measurement will improve the quality of study and external validity of data. This consensus illustrates and exemplifies the study design, diagnosis and evaluation of skin diseases in the field survey, investigation of risk factors, and measurement of burden of disease, aiming to provide a reference for high-quality dermato-epidemiological studies.
