Chromatic value-based evaluation of efficacy of photodynamic therapy in the treatment of nevus flammeus

Abstract:

Objective Our aim was to evaluation of treatment effect with photodynamic therapy on port wine stain by measuring chromatic value.Methods 72patients with light purple port wine stain is studied by comparing the chromatic value of the port wine stain with that of contralateral normal skin on pre-treatment and post-treatment.Results Treatment effect of port wine stain on temple was:excellent:26.19%,good33.33%,fair23.80%,poor11.90%,no response4.67%.on check was:excellent6.6%,good16.6%,fair33.33%,poor26.67%,no response16.67%.This,difference was statistically significant.Conclusion Evaluation of treatment effect on port wine stain by chromatic value is objection, cprrectop and quantitation. The treatment effect of port wine stain on temple position is better than chech.
