Abstract:

We report a case of hydroxyurea-associated multiple verrucous keratoses and squamous cell carcinoma of the skin. A 55-year-old female patient presented with multiple yellowish to brownish verrucous keratotic papules, plaques on both hands and feet, ulcerative mass on left palm. She had a history of bone marrow fibrosis that was well controlled by hydroxyurea therapy for 8 years. Histopathology of ulcerative mass on left palm showed cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma. The patient subsequently underwent left forearm amputation, and the remainder of the lesions were treated by imiquimod.
