Granuloma fungoides manifesting as purpura and depigmentation macules in a child

Abstract:

A case of mycosis fungoide presented with purpuric and hypopigmented lesions in a child Yang Jing Wang Tao Liu Yue-hua Qu Tao Mai Dong-lai Jin Hong-zhong Sun Qiu-ning Fang Kai (Department of Dermatology, Peking Union Medical College Hospital, Peking Union Medical College, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, Beijing, 100730,China) Corresponding author: Liu Yue-hua (yuehualiu@263.net) Yang Jing:(advanced training doctor,Department of Dermatology, Red Cross society Hospital, Chongqing, China 400020) Abstract:We reported a 9-year-old child in whom widespread purpuric and hypopigmented macules and patches developed as the initial clinical feature of mycosis fungoides. Histopathological examination confirmed the diagnosis of mycosis fungoides. The patient was treated with narrowband UVB and Interferon, and got response.
