Insights into rosacea from the perspective of psychosomatic medicine

Abstract: 【Abstract】 Rosacea is a psychosomatic disorder characterized by a distinct neurobiological etiology. It is prone to be comorbid with many neuropsychiatric conditions, and imposes a significant psychosocial burden. This article discusses the psychosomatic attributes of rosacea from neurological, psychiatric, social, and psychological perspectives, aiming to enhance dermatologists′ understanding of its psychosomatic nature.
