Interventional Therapy of Skin Angioma

Abstract: Two hundred and fourteen children with skin angioma diagnosed by digital subtraction angiography (DSA)were treated withi nterventional therapy.After 2 year folow up,146 cases(68.2%)were cured,65(30.4%)showed marked improvement,and no efect was observed in 3 patients(1.4%).The shortest duration for the angioma to resolve was one month,the longest was 6 months.The curative effect was better in the types of cavernous angioma and vascular malformation than that in the other types.The results show that the therapy is a safe,rapid method with high curative rate and few side efects.
