Abstract: DNA-DNA homology of & Candida species was studied by using the total chromosome DNA probes f rom C.albicans (la), C.tropicalis (2b) and C.krusei (6a), respectively.A high homology between C.parapsilosis and C.albicans was found, but the phylogenetic relations among other Candida species are not so close as thought previously. Moreover,we found that the homologous seguences among other Candida species were nearly located on the chromosome containing rDNA.
