Analysis of immune dysregulation in drug hypersensitivity by using dapsone hypersensitivity syndrome as a model

Abstract: 【Abstract】 Drug hypersensitivity is a severe adverse drug reaction characterized by a prolonged latency period, complex clinical manifestations, and a potentially life-threatening course. In this article, dapsone hypersensitivity syndrome serves as a model for dissecting the roles of genetic predisposition, innate immunity, and acquired immunity in the development of drug hypersensitivity. Based on this model, key unresolved challenges in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of drug hypersensitivity are proposed, and a multifactorial risk prediction model is expected to be established to guide the prevention of drug hypersensitivity.
