Abstract: 【Abstract】 Herpes zoster is an infectious skin disease caused by the reactivation of the varicella-zoster virus, clinically characterized by skin lesions and neuropathic pain. Both traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine exhibit respective advantages in the diagnosis and treatment of herpes zoster. Based on current evidence-based research, fully leveraging the strengths of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine in the diagnosis and treatment of herpes zoster, and weighing the benefits and risks of diverse interventions, the Chinese Dermatovenerology Society of Integrative Medicine organized relevant experts to formulate a series of recommendations for the diagnosis and treatment of herpes zoster with integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine, aiming to provide a scientific and reliable reference to support clinicians in their clinical decision-making.
