Abstract

Abstract: 【Abstract】 Nontuberculous mycobacteria （NTM） encompass all mycobacterial species except the Mycobacterium tuberculosis complex and Mycobacterium leprae. In recent years, the incidence of skin and soft tissue infections caused by nontuberculous mycobacteria has shown an increasing trend. It is prone to be misdiagnosed due to the lack of specificity of clinical manifestations. This consensus aims to improve Chinese clinicians′ understanding of nontuberculous mycobacterial diseases and standardize their diagnosis and treatment.
