Abstract: In 1961 and 1980, the authors investigated the occupational dermatosis of, silk reeling women workers is a silk factory.The result is as follows; 1)The incidence of occupational dermatosis in the handicraft women workers was 86.4%,while that in the women workers working in the automatic workroom was 70.0%, the diffefence between them is statistically significant (X²=5.22, P<0.05).2.) The incidence of occupational dermatosis in the handicraft women workers who were given the preventive remedies was 81.4% in 1980, while that in the handicraft women workers who were not given the preventive remedies was 91.4% in 1961, but the difference between them is: not significant(X²=1.87,P>0.05).Finally, the etiology of the dermatosis is discussed.
