Study on Evolution of Clinical Course of Psoriasis Vulgaris and Its Related Factors

Abstract: Objective To study the evolution of clinical course of psoriasis vulgaris and its related factors. Methods Retrospective and prospective investigations were performed in the psoriatic patients with first onset. The evolution of clinical course of the patients was analyzed in connection with the disease types. The influencing factors were analyzed by case-control method. Results There were six types of clinical courses in the patients observed. One third of the patients remained in the state of clinical recovery for a long time. Less than 1/10 of the patients were severely ill with frequent reccurrences. Conclusions Human body has the ability of self-recuperation. The use of antitumor agents has a negative effect on the clinical course of the disease and should be contraindicated for the patients with first onset.
