PGE2 and PEF2α levels in the skin of psoriatic patients and their cliniical significance

Abstract: The PGE2 and PGE2α levels in the skin including epidermis and dermis from 20 cases of psoriasis and 20 normal persons were determined by the RIA. results showed that the PGE2 and PGF2α levels in the involved skin were significantly higher than those of the uninvolved control group.The ratio of PGE2/PGE2α in the uninvolved skin group was sigaifieantjy higher than that of the involved and control group.
