Abstract: In 1985, we have surveyed 2059 underground coal miners in Quan-tai mine of Xuzhou. All miners were male.Aged 17-51 years old (average 299±7.9), most of them aged 30-50 (64.64%, P< 0.01), the length of service about 0.5-28 years (average 7.9±6.6 years). The incidence of tines pedis in underground miners was much higher than that of other workers(P< 0.01).
