Abstract: In this article, a total of 181 patients with eoinophilic lymphbgranuloma were reviewed, including 153 cases which had been reported in Chinese medical journals and 28 cases (subcutaneous forme) which had been diagnosed pathologicallp in out hospital since 1955. In subcutaneous form the ratio between. male and female, patients was 13.6:1. The tumors were painless, soft, elastic and with well-defined borderliae. They varied in size. from 1×1.2cm to 20×10 cm.The sites of predilection were parotid, periauricular, epitrochlea areas. The skin over the lesions was rough, thick and hyperpigmented, and these, features were rather helpful to the diagnosis this entity. Our patients were treated solely with radiotherapy and excellent results were obtaind. Electromicroscopic examination demonstrated Charcot-Leyden crystals in the specimens. The etiology of this disease is conceivably an atopic allergy related with Candida albicaas.
