Abstract: A case of cutaneous sporotrichosis observed in a nurse of a aursery was reported. The nurse was often in close contact with a child patient suffering from this disease. The fungi cultures isolated from them were sporotrichum schenckii, In order to prove the infectivity of the skin lesion of sporotrichosis to intact skin, an experiment was deviced. After being contacted with the skin lesions of the mice suffering from sporotrichosis, similar skin lesions on the tails of liealthy mice occurred, whether their skin were injured or not.Therefore we stress that sporotricliosis contracted by the nurse directly arises from eontacting the child patient.
