Determination of the serum levels of calcium magnesium, copper and zinc in the patients with several kinds of dermatoses in Hefei District of Anhui province

Abstract: The serum levels of calcium, magnesium, copper and zinc is patients with seven kinds of skin disease and is 150 normal persons as control were determined by atomic absorption spectrometric method. Results showed that the levels of the four elements in the sera of normal persons were different between different sex sad age groups. When patients with seven skin diseases were compared with the control group, the calcium levels is.seborrhea, acne, and vanities. prematura were significantly higher, the serum copper and. zinc levels in these patients were significantly lower than those is the control group. Serum levels of copper and zinc is vitiligo were significantly lower than those in the control group. The serum magnesium levels were sighty lower only in the patients with vanities prematura. Those in freckle and chloasma showed no significant difference from the control group.
