Abstract: 【Abstract】 Exosomes are membrane vesicles secreted by almost all cells and can carry a variety of components, including cytokines and genetic material, involved in regulating numerous physiological and pathological functions of the body. Exosomes have attracted considerable attention in various fields, and dermatological research has primarily focused on areas such as wound healing, collagen regeneration, scar improvement, and angiogenesis. Given the significant potential of exosomes in the development of treatments for inflammatory skin diseases and skin infections, this review summarizes the progress of exosome research, particularly their therapeutic roles in diseases such as psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, hypertrophic scars, and skin infections.
