Abstract: The clinical characteristics of 368 cases of pompholyx have beea reported,and the pathogenic factors of them have been evaluated.Apart from the higher frequency in males,other clinical characterrtics were consistent with those reported is the Literature.The relative risk value(RR=10.667,SND=3.830,P<0.01)suggested that hyperidrosis of palm and sole not only was the accompaayias symptom but the immediate cause of pompholpx.The association of psychic factor with the hobby of smoking and driiiking,allergic diathesis with focus of infection acted synergistically on the pathogenesis of pompolyx.
