A Comparative Study on Diagnosis of Condyloma Accuminatum by Polymerase Chain Reaction and Histopathology

Abstract: The authors reported the results of diagnosis of Condyloma accuminatung(CA) by poly-merase chain reaction(PCR) and histopa-thology.The results showed that diagnosis by PCR has high specificity,sensitivity and is easy to handle.Histopathology is one of the main diagnostic method of CA,however,there are false negative results.The authors further cloned and sequenced the specific DNA segmeet amplified by PCR.It confirmed the reliability of PCR technique.
