Dysplastic nevus: a family report

Abstract:

A case of Familial dysplastic nevus is reported. Proband was a 13-year-old boy in whom generalized skin eruption was noted in the last 9 years, characteristics of papules and nodules. Physical examination revealed multiple Brown-coloured macules,papules and nodules, 2 to 7 mm in diameter, located on his whole face, arms and trunk. Family history revealed that there are 16 members with the same clinical manifestations in the family which includes 45 members extending through 4 generations. Histolopathological examination considered compound nevus.
