Abstract:

A case of hidroacanthoma simplex was reported. A 65-year-old man presented with a 4-year history of prunosus macule on his left lumbar region. Histological examination revealed well-circumscribed intraepidermal tumor cell nests. The tumor cells were uniform in shape and size and a few small lumina-like structures were found in the tumor masses. Hyperplasia and dilate blood vessels were found in the papillary dermal. The diagnosis was made as hidroacanthoma simplex.
