Clinical analysis of patch test in 129 patients with facial recurrent dermatitis

Abstract: Objective: To explore the etiopathogenisis of facial recurrent dermatitis(FRD) by patch testing. Methods: 133 patients who had been clinically diagnosed facial recurrent dermatitis were studied by clinical questionnaire and patch testing.Results:The whole positive rate of patch testing is 87.22%(116 patients),The rate of positive reaction to one kind of kits is 35.90%(42 patients).To two kind of kits is31.62%(37 patients).To three is 16.24%(19 patients).To four and more than four is 16.24%(19 patients).The most 6 common contact allergens were formaldehyde, carba mix,ichromicum Kalium,niekel sulfate,mercury sulfate, paraben mix.The positive rate has relation with age and environment,but has no relation with sexual and cosmetics.Conclusions: Contacting allergen has a close connecting with FRD,so patch testing is a helpful method of directing us to therapy FRD.
