Abstract: 【Abstract】 The key pathological mechanisms underlying the unilateral involvement in segmental vitiligo remain poorly elucidated, and its fundamental distinctions from non-segmental vitiligo have not been clearly defined, resulting in a lack of targeted therapeutic strategies for segmental vitiligo. This review systematically summarizes the clinical features, pathogenesis, and diagnostic and therapeutic advances in segmental vitiligo, and discusses promising directions for future research.
