Abstract: Combination of SPA with all monospecific antibodies in the kit of "CANDIDA CHECK" to enhance their sglutination titers was used in this study for the identification of Candida. Each momospecific aniibody was diluted 100 times after the combination, and then reacted with 218 strains of human Candida with slide agglutination. The total coincidence rate between serological method and nonserologieal method was 87.2%.For the common species,C.albicans and C.tropicaais, the rates were 97.1% and 98.7% respectively, and for the uncommmon species, the races were less than 60%.Combination of SPA with all monospecific antibodies in the kit of "CANDIDA CHECK" to enhance their agglutination titers was used in this study for the identification of Candida. Each momospecific aniibody was diluted 100 times after the combination, and then reacted with 218 strains of human Candida with slide agglutination. The total coincidence rate between serological method and nonserologieal method was 87.2%.For the common species,C.albicans and C.tropicaais, the rates were 97.1% and 98.7% respectively, and for the uncommmon species, the races were less than 60%.Besides,only one strain ef sero-type B of C.albicans, but none of C.tropicalis, was discovered. The results suggest that by utilizing SPA co-agglutination method, the co:aumption of original monospecific antibodies can be greatly decreased and by cooperation kof non serological method with serological method, the rate of determination can be significantly increased.
