Microincision under tumescent anesthesia followed by suction and scraping under negative pressure for the treatment of hircismus: 110 case report

Abstract:

Objective To evaluate a minimally invasive and safe treatment for axillary osmidrosis. Methods Mark the area of axillary hair growth to be operated, infiltrat the tumescent fluid into two layers using the tumescent technique , insert the extractor radially to draw out the apocrine sweat glands, Make sure to give a pressure dressing to the operation area. Results From April 2009 to July 2010,110 patients were treated with this method, all patients have been followed up for 3—18 months,the results showed that the response rate was 100%. Conclusions The method is simple,effective and minimal invasive which is worthy of clinical application.
