Abstract:

porokeratosis is a keratinization disorder characterized by multiple small lesions with an elevated thick keratotic border and central atrophy. Histology reveals cornoid lamellae. While porokeratosis is practically asymptomatic, unusual pruritic variant has been reported and designated as “eruptive pruritic papular porokeratosis” or “inflammatory stage of DSP”. We recently encountered three old men with pruritic porokeratosis .We propose the term “eruptive pruritic papular porokeratosis” for describing this unusual variant of porokeratosis.
