Abstract: Objective To explore the association of HLA-DRB1 alleles with genetic susceptibility to systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) in Hart people in Shandong province. Methods Blood samples were collected from 42 SLE patients and 98 healthy controls for PCR and hybridization.Then,Luminex100 fluoroanalyzer was used to analyze the distribution of HLA-DRBI alleles. Results Twelve kinds of HLA-DRB1 alleles were found in SLE specimens, and 13 in the control specimens.HLA-DRB1*07 alleles had significantly positive association with SLE (x2=9.643,P=0.002,Pc=0.028,RR=2.728,EF=0.204).HLA-DRB1*15 alleles also positively associated with SLE (x2=4.059,P=0.044,Pc=0.0618,RR=1.84).Conclusion HLA-DRB1*07 could possibly be the susceptibility genes for SLE in Han people in Shandong province.
