Abstract: Objective To study the prognosis of atopic dermatitis and its influencing factors. Methods 423 patients with atopic dermatitis (AD) were followed up for 1 to 19 years. Results and Conclusion The clearance rate of skin lesions was 30.02% (127 patients).296 patients(69.98%) continued to have different degrees of skin lesions, although the majority were getting better. The age of onset, type of erup-tions,distribution of lesions and the areas involved were all not related to the prognosis of AD(P>0.05). The patients with dry skin or with both asthma and allergic rhinitis might have worse prognosis(P<0.05),and the prognosis was not related to the blood eosinophil count and the level of serum IgE (P>0.05).
