Abstract: ABC-ELISA was established to detect aspergillus carbohydrate (AC) antigen for the diagnosis of aspergillosis.The assay was able to detect AC antigen as low as 2.4ng/ml.20 sera from experimentally infected rabbits with histologically proven invasive aspergillosis showed positive results,only 2 serum demonstrated to be positive among 30 healthy rabbits and 10 sera from rabbits with systemic candidiasis.The coeffcient variations of in the group (6.7%) and between groups (8.6%), showed that the assay has a good reproducibility.
