Abstract: The cutaneous levels of malondialdehyde (MDA)and superoxide dismutase (S0D) in mice of various month age were determinaed. The results showed that in young mice, the cutaneous level of SOD was the highest and MDA was the lowest. With the increasing of age,the levels of SOD decreased and MDA increased gradually. After UVA irradiation, the csitaneous level of SOD decreased and then the level of MBA increased significantly,It suggests that free radical damage shay play an important role in skin aging, and ultraviolet irradiation can accelerate the process of skin.
