Quantitative determination of anti-Ro/SSA antibody by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay

Abstract: Antibody to Ra/SSA occurs in patients with syscemic lupus eryihematogus and Sj×gren's syndrome. Ro/SSA antigen was purified by imunoaffinity method with the pig spleen as the antigen source. Purifled Ro/SSA antigen is a peptide of approximatoty 60 000 in SDS-PAGP analysis. By using this purified antigen,a sensitive cnzyme-lirsked immunpsorbent assay(ELTSA) for determination of anti-Ro/SSA antibody was established. The antigen concentration way 100μg per ml and the sera were dilnted to 1/50.
