Detection of human papilloma virus DNA sequences in condyloma acuminata

Abstract: Forty-eight biopsies from genital condyloma acuminata were examined for the presenca of human papilloma virus ( HPV)DNA sequences by dot blot hybridization with HPY-6b,HPV-11,HPV-16 and HPV-18 DNA probes. The results showed that 42 of 48 cases wets positive for HPV DNA sequences (87.56%). Among them,thc detective rates of HPV-6b,HPV-11,HPV-16 and HPV-18 DNA squenoea wore 68.8%.79.2%,43.8% and 14.6%,respectively.
