Abstract: This article reports the results of detection of mycoplasma hominis and ureaplasxna urealyticum from discharges of the urethra or the cervical canal in 50 outpatients with nongonococ cal urethritis (NGU) at the STD clinic.Of all the patients,9 cases were positive,which accountcd for 18 percent in all patients investigated.Thirteen strains of mycoplasma,including 7 strains of mycoplastna hominis and 6 strains of ureaplasma urealyticum were isolated.
