Abstract: Thirty two strains of Neisseria gonorrhoeae were isolated from the patients with acute urcthritis, vaginitisandconjunctivitis in Shenyang city from March 10,1988 to April 23,1988.The sensitivity of the isolates to antibotics was determined by disc method. The results showed that the sensitivity rate of the gonococd to penicillin G was 87.5%,gentamycin 100%,cefazolin sodium 100%,furazolidone 96.9%,terramcin 75%,erythjromycin 65.6%,and sulfamethoxa, zol (SMG Go) 37.5%.In this paper the conditions to facilitate the gonococcus isolation and the tendency of prevalence of PPNG were discussed.
