Abstract: Using the animal patch test,the authors compared the histoiogical scoring with the visual assessment described by Draize,and found that there was a positive correlation between the two different methods,and considered-W at the histological scoring might be used,wand ehc present results also piovided a basis for ftrrmuIating the histological criteria in the assessment of intensity of irritation.
