Abstract: The article reports the results of NK cell activity and IL-2 producing ability of patients with vitiligo.Using ¹²⁵IUdR release test 20 patients were detected for NK cell activity.By using short time culture method 15 cases were determined for IL-2 producing ability.The results showed that the NK cell activity and the IL-2 activity were marked higher than those of the healthy controls (P < 0.001).The increase of NK cell activity and IL-2 activity furkher demonstrated that the cell mediated immunity was abnormal in patients with vitiligo.The pathagenetic signifcance of these abnormalities in vitiligo remains to be studied.
