Abstract: A matched-pair case-control study of the etiologic factors of patients with alopecia areata was carried out in 108 patients with alopecia areata and 108 normal individuals as control. This study was based upon the Eysenck Personality Questionnaire (EPq) and the Social Readjustment Rating Questionnaire (SRRq)answered by all the subjects.
