Abstract: This paper reports the action of ethyl benzi-midazol-2-yl carbamate on some pathogenic fungi. The result showed that this drug was active against all of the isolates studied with the exception of Candida albicans. The activity of this drug against Trichophyton rubruxn, Trichophyton gypsem and Microsporum cams was similar to that of clotrimazole and econazole, but the effect of this drug to Sporotrix Schenckii and some pathogenic Species of Chromomyces was stronger than that of clotrimazole and econazole.
