Abstract: Scram testosterone and estradiol levels in 45 patients with acne and 38 normal persons were determined.The result showed that male patients had higher serum estradiol levels (230.2pmol/L)than that of controls (163.9pmol/L),and female patieros had higher serum testosterone levels (5.45nmol/L) than that of controls (3.71nmol/L).We also observed that 88.9% of women patients with acne had abnormal menstrual cycle.We believe that it is worth-while to treat these patients with artificial menstrual cycle.
