Abstract: The cellular(leucocytic migration inhibition test-LIT;leucocyte adherence inhibition_LAI) and humoral(Ig,C3,C4) immunological tests were carried out in 102 patients with tinea pedis, with 50 umbilical cord blood specimens as control. We found that in all patients the specific migration index_MI and non-adherence inhibition index_NAII weer positive in comparison with the umbilical cord blood. These results were related to the eondition of patients(such as age, clinical synnptoms and complications),and there were cross reactions between the two antigens(Ag.of trichophyton rubrum and Ag.of T.Gypseum).Ctn the other hand,14 out of 15 cases infected by Trirhnnhvton ruhrum appeared higher IgE level, but its relation to this disease was undeterminz.d.Thus it shows that the immunological reactions do exist in patients with tinea pedis. It seems that the immunological function of patients may have influence upon the high percentage of recurrence in this desease.
